Fast feng shui – Eliminating the Feng Shui "Fear Factor"

Category: Feng Shui Elements — admin @ 2:45 pm
Tip! Maintain the good feng shui of your home by opening the windows regularly to let the stale air escape and fresh energy in.

Increasingly in my practice I have noticed that more and more clients are actually becoming afraid to make changes to their surroundings using Feng Shui Principles. I am always mindful to ask them why they are so nervous to make some simple adjustments and the answer is always the same. They read in one book or another that making certain changes in a particular area can have “disasterous repercussions.” Although I certainly follow Feng Shui Principles as they were taught to me from The Masters, I am discouraged to see so many people that have been too reluctant to make some changes on their own because of these books.

Is Feng Shui Certification for You? (Feng shui books)

Category: Feng Shui Elements — admin @ 3:15 am
Tip! Focus on the kitchen. In feng shui, kitchens are prosperity and health areas.

Is Feng Shui certification for you? My answer is a definite… Maybe.

If you’re an avid reader, you can probably learn everything that you need to know from Feng Shui websites, and from recommended books such as the lighthearted “Move Your Stuff, Change Your Life” and “Feng Shui in 5 Minutes,” or more academic texts such as “Interior Design with Feng Shui.”

However, if you’ve read Feng Shui books but still have important questions, or if you’d like to grow a career as a Feng Shui consultant or designer, Feng Shui training can be very important.

Feng shui lucky numbers – Deck the Halls… With Feng Shui Luck

Category: Feng Shui Elements — admin @ 8:30 am
Tip! Sales are made by first impressions. The front door is THE most important area of the house in feng shui.

Your holiday decorations can attract added Feng Shui luck if you place them in the best areas of your home or office.

If you’re displaying a Yule or Christmas tree, or anything glittery such as metallic garlands, these can enhance your Prosperity corner. This is also called the Money corner, and–looking in from the doorway–it’s the back left corner of your home or office, and it’s also the back left corner in each room.

Feng shui water element – Feng Shui and Balancing the Bagua

Category: Feng Shui Elements — admin @ 12:45 am
Tip! Make use of the main feng shui elements. An interior design uses furniture and objects which may contain the different elements.

Some people, when they first learn about Feng Shui, are most attracted to the areas of “Prosperity” or “Relationships and Love”. Love and money are two pretty strong motivators for many of us. And in the western culture especially we tend to think “more” is always better. If one pill will cure a headache, two should do it in half the time. But neither Feng Shui nor medicine usually works that way. It is a mistake in Feng Shui to focus on only some bagua areas and concentrate all your efforts on those. Feng Shui is based on balance not on excess, and unbalanced thinking usually brings disappointing results.

The most beautiful present that you can offer at a housewarming celebration is a Feng Shui gift; I am talking from experience because I did obtain a very beautiful laughing Buddha for a similar occasion and felt that my luck changed from that very day onwards for the better. Whether it is really true, or this is just a coincidence, I cannot say. But the fact remains that I loved this housewarming gift.
